King Cake
Keep frozen until ready to enjoy.
8" round traditional Mardi Gras Kings Cake with decorations. This delicious cake is made with a rich sweet yeast dough filled with a butter, cinnamon swirl.
Mardi Gras, or "Fat Tuesday," is the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent or in 2024 on Tuesday, February 13th.
Each order includes icing; purple, green, and gold sanding sugar; beaded necklace; and of course a tiny baby wrapped separately which you insert into the bottom of the cake just before serving. The tradition of King Cake Parties have evolved over time, and the "lucky" person who receives the slice of cake with the baby is asked to continue the festivities by having the next King Cake party (or at least purchasing the next cake.)
How to prepare:

-
Bring to room temperature reheat in oven 350° 10-15 mins (without the baby inserted)
-
Insert plastic baby. (Baby is Not Edible)
-
Decorate with icing and sprinkle
Enjoy!
